Welcome to the Mayona Café website (hereinafter: “the Website” and/or “the Café”). Use of the Website, including browsing, viewing, and placing orders, is subject to the terms outlined in this policy. Please read them carefully. By using the Website, you fully agree to these terms.
1. General
The Website serves as a platform for displaying the café’s menu and offerings, providing information about the café, and placing online orders.
The Café reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time, at its sole discretion and without prior notice. Any changes will be published on the Website and will take effect from the moment of publication.
The use of masculine pronouns in this document is for convenience only and refers to all genders equally.
2. Orders and Cancellations – Cakes & Pre-Order Items
Orders for cakes and/or other pre-order items can be made through the Website or by contacting the Café directly.
Cake cancellation policy: Cancellation of a cake or any other specially prepared product must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup/delivery time.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time will not be eligible for a refund.

The Café reserves the right to cancel an order in exceptional cases (e.g., lack of ingredients, technical issues, etc.) with full refund and customer notification.
3. Allergens and Sensitivities
The Café operates in an environment that contains a variety of allergens, including (but not limited to): gluten, peanuts, various tree nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans, etc.), sesame, dairy, eggs, and soy.
We cannot guarantee that any product will be completely allergen-free, even if the allergen is not a listed ingredient, due to potential cross-contamination during preparation or storage.
For customers with severe allergies, we recommend exercising caution and/or avoiding consumption of our products.
For detailed information about ingredients and allergens in specific products, please contact the Café staff prior to ordering or consumption. Responsibility for verifying this information lies with the customer.
4. Menu and Product Availability
The menu and products listed on the Website may change from time to time depending on seasonal ingredient availability and at the discretion of the Café.

Cancellation Policy
To ensure freshness and quality, and given the custom nature of our cakes, the following cancellation terms apply:

Right to cancel: You may cancel your order within 12 hours of placing it.

Perishable items: Cakes and baked goods are considered “perishable goods” under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 1981. As such, businesses are generally not required to allow cancellation. However, we offer this grace period as a courtesy.

Refunds: Orders canceled within the permitted time will receive a full refund (minus any payment processing fees, if applicable).

Special requests: Cancellations not meeting the above conditions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but approval is not guaranteed.
Gift Card Cancellation Policy

Before collection and redemption:
Customers may cancel a gift card purchase and receive a refund if the following conditions are both met:
a. The gift card has not been physically collected from the Café.
b. The gift card has not been redeemed, even partially. -
How to request a cancellation:
Submit your request to our customer service team (by phone, email, or website contact form) along with your full order details. -
Processing time and refund:
Requests will be processed within 14 business days. If approved, a refund will be issued via the original payment method. -
Expiry of cancellation right:
Once the gift card has been collected or redeemed (even partially), the right to cancel is immediately and permanently forfeited. Collection confirms receipt and functionality of the card. -
Customer responsibility:
It is your responsibility to verify the card’s condition upon collection. If the card is defective and the issue is unrelated to use (e.g., card not scanning), please contact the Café.
